Valdez Industrial Group, LLC

Thomas USAF Group originated a $5 Million USDA B&I loan to Valdez Industrial Group, LLC that is headquartered in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.

The loan will enable the company to purchase new equipment that will be used to repair and rebuild the Limetree Bay Refinery on St. Croix. Valdez Industrial Group, LLC and the Vivot companies are the exclusive contractor and equipment operator for the $2 Billion refinery refurbishment project which will be vital to the local economy. Once finished, the refinery will be the second-largest facility in the western hemisphere, capable of refining a maximum of 650,000 barrels of oil per day. 40 jobs will be created within the company and 480 indirect jobs will be sustained.

Thomas USAF has now originated a total of $30,000,000 (7 loans) in USDA and SBA government guaranteed loans for Vivot Equipment Corporation and its affiliates! Patrick Vivot was named Borrower of the Year at the 2018 Annual National Rural Lenders’ Round table in Washington, DC. We would like to thank USDA leadership for their assistance with this loan.
